The Celebrate Art! Celebrate Coffee! festival is presented each fall by the Willmar Area Arts Council. This year's festival is September 19 and is located in downtown Willmar. The world's premier collection of Fall Flyer classic speed boats, the Jaguar of boats, is housed in a private museum operated by Paul Mikkelson. Minnesota's Larson Boat Works manufactured only about 200 Falls Flyers from 1939 to 1960, and the best ones are on display in Willmar. Classic outboard motors and more than 2,000 toy boats and motors are also featured, along with numerous other boating artifacts. Antique decoys and electric trains are also featured.

Glacial Ridge Winery, one of Minnesota’s newest wineries, opened August 2007. We're located on Hwy 23 just 15 minutes North of Willmar between Spicer and New London. The winery is located at the home of Jimmy Appleseed Orchard, which has over 850 apple trees boasting 12 different varieties. When apples are in season, they continue to be offered for sale at the winery along with apple cider and caramel apples.

The southwest edge of Atwater is home to Island Pine Golf Club. It's a gently rolling course with scenic natural wetlands and the largest greens in the area.
